MARCH 2025
Meeting Point
Avenue Léo Errera 41, 1180 Uccle
Completed in 1928, the exterior of the home of Alice and David van Buuren is typical of the Amsterdam School, while the interior decoration is a unique Art Deco ensemble where furniture, carpets, stained glass windows, sculptures, paintings and decorative objects have remained in place. The gardens, including a labyrinth, were laid out by the landscape architects Jules Buyssens and René Pechère in succession. Their recent restoration was awarded the prestigious Europa Nostra Prize. The ticket gives access to the guided visit of the interior and to the gardens.
