15. Georges Engels House

Located next to the Astrid Park and on the Avenue Eugène Ysaye, but little known, the Georges Engels House is a real Art Deco masterpiece which participates in the BANAD Festival for the second time. The architect François Engels designed the house in 1934 for his brother Georges, taking great care with the layout. The spaces are luminous and airy, almost recalling a film set. The whole is full of remarkable details and small touches which illustrate the architectural style and which have been particularly well preserved: the woodwork, paneling, parquet, fireplace… A house for connoisseurs!​​
