During the BANAD Festival, the SchaerBook bookshop will host an exclusive pop-up store where you can buy a selection of architecture books, must-have BANAD goodies (totebags, umbrellas, Explore.Brussels soap, etc.), walking tour maps and publications from our member associations (ARAU, Arkadia, Brussels Chatterguides and Pro Vélo)... as well as many other treasures!
SchaerBook is an independent general bookstore located in charming premises in the Plasky district, at the corner of Avenue Léon Mahillon and Avenue du Diamant, a stone's throw from the Place des Chasseurs Ardennais, Meiser and Dailly.
Christine and Laurence, the two booksellers, offer a fine selection of books, including children's literature, in addition to stationery, local products, illustrations, etc.
They wish to share their love of books and make their Art Deco setting a haven in the whirlwind of everyday life, a welcoming and warm place where you can stop time, enjoy new reading pleasures and also treat yourself to something delicious to eat or drink, to take away or to sample on the spot in the seats reserved for this purpose. Open Tuesday to Saturday from 12 noon to 6:30 pm and exceptionally, on Sunday 30 March.
